Lately...

I have had a busy couple of weeks, but they have been wonderful! First, my coworkers and I went to Hot Springs for a relaxing weekend. We stayed at an amazing house in a gated community with a shower that had 9 shower heads! I was definitely spoiled with that shower - I want one now! We spent Saturday at the races - the weather was perfect! At breakfast we met a guy that said he would take our picture to put on the big screen, but we weren't sure what he was talking about. Turns out, we were able to go on the race track after the 6th race to take a picture with the winning horse and jockey! It was such a neat experience, especially since I've been going to the races since I was little. I must say that I am a lucky girl to be able to work with the people I do. They are the best coworkers ever!

The group at the best breakfast joint ever and where we met the guy who took us on the track. I love these girls!

Not 10 minutes after I got home from Hot Springs, we got the call that Mike's sister, Christin, was in labor! So, we got a few things situated at home and then headed to Conway. Once we got to the hospital, Christin had just gotten her epidural, so her mom and I went back to visit with she and Chris. We were all anxious to meet baby Rippy and, especially, to finally hear what her name was going to be.....

After 3 hours of waiting at the hospital, Chris came out with this sign to announce that Allison 'Alli' Marie Rippy was here!

Here she is, my precious niece, Allison Marie!

Uncle Mike holding Alli for the first time! They now say she looks like him! We'll see if that holds true because I know she's changing everyday.

Aunt Lindsay holding Alli for the first time! She is just so cute!

The Rippy's - a family of 3! We're going to visit them today and love on Alli!

The following week was spent giving the Benchmark test to my 4th graders. It was a long week, but I'm so proud of my kiddos! I can't wait to get their scores!!!! That weekend I went with some coworkers to the Beth Moore Conference, AMAZING!!! I am a huge fan of Beth Moore because she is totally real and doesn't hide anything. She is such a woman of God and a true inspiration. I loved being able to worship with my coworker sisters and growing closer to them and growing more in my faith.

We are Living Proof! I am so blessed to have these coworkers! We are planning on doing a Beth Moore study this summer - can't wait!

I hope everyone has a Happy Easter - He is Risen!!!

On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,
The emblem of suff'ring and shame;
And I love that old cross where the dearest and best
For a world of lost sinners was slain.
